Baha'i Writings n copyright

uikkinaali

I have removed the three images of the sheet music because of unresolved copyright issues. The music is mine and copyrighted, however, the use of Baha'i Writings together with song requires permission which has not yet been given. If you have downloaded the images and printed them, please do not distribute them. Thanks for your understanding and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I hope to obtain permission from the National Spiritual Assembly here in Greenland but know from experience that this will take a long time.

In the mean time please feel free to enjoy the accompaniment to these songs.

Here are the three songs in sheet music. I think they will print out at A4 size. I could maybe post the .pdf files if I can figure out how to do so.

You can listen to the recordings minus vocals (I don't sing worth listening to) so you can fit the lyrics to the melodies.

The three songs from the LondonIPG 2009 "album" are useful for Ruhi classes during Book 6 study circles and teaching campaigns, and the accompagniment here is just intended to assist in learning the songs. Ok, they might be nice to listen to as well.

The improvisations are attempts to reflect the other worlds into this world by playing free improvisation - no predetermined structure - while remaining open to reflecting the fashionings from the other worlds into this world. There are passages here, although short and unsustained, that were inspired. I was as much an observer and audience as was the recorder. And, on occasion that "something" that is so difficult to explain (and call forth) actually happened. I felt my fingers being pushed up away from the tangents (the keys) and sensed them dancing of their own accord. Perhaps these surprising, threading events survived the recording process which usually flattens everything to the earthly realm quite effectively! I hope you enjoy listening to yet another feeble attempt.

The source for "Until a being setteth his foot in the plane of sacrifice" is: Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 76 And the source for "Shoghi Effendi, The Dawn-Breakers, p. 92" is: Shoghi Effendi, The Dawn-Breakers, p. 92 Just looked it up on Ocean. Thanks for the music!
